Toho Blind Box Wave 09 (Shogun V3) - Blind Box Flat

The retro Shogun-style sculpting really pops in person—the metallic green paint on the figure looks fantastic. Opening the flat felt like a mini unboxing event with each blind box.

Pulling each blind box out of the flat felt like unwrapping a tiny piece of kaiju history, and the retro Shogun styling is spot-on. I was surprised by how solid the figures feel for the price—definitely a fun way to snag a full set without hunting singles.

The flat arrived and I immediately cracked open a couple boxes—the vintage Shogun design from the 1970s is spot-on, with that chunky, retro sculpt that just hits different. It's a gamble with the blind boxes, but getting the whole set to display as a kaiju lineup is totally worth it.
