Toho ULTIMATES! Wave 07 - Godzilla '54

The dorsal fins have that perfect matte black finish from the classic film, and the sculpt captures his menacing posture exactly. He's got some real heft to him, so he stands solid on the shelf.

The paint job on this '54 Godzilla is spot-on, with that rough, charcoal-black texture that really sells the classic suit look. Posing him mid-stomp with the tail swung out feels like he's about to level a city block. He's got some heft to him, which makes the display presence even better.

The articulation on this figure is surprisingly good for a classic monster design, the joints don't detract from the sculpt at all. The paint apps on the dorsal fins look crisp and perfectly match the weathered black-and-white aesthetic from the film.
