Compare the Super7 Power Rangers Super Cyborg Megazord Clear and Dragonzord Full Color figures: see-through tech vs classic armor, articulation, and which fits your collection.
Quick Answer
If you want to show off the inner mechanics and the Rangers inside, pick the Megazord Clear; if you prefer a classic, battle-ready look with more articulation, go with the Dragonzord Full Color.
The Trade-Off: See-Through Tech vs Classic Armor
The Megazord Clear is the first Super Cyborg figure from the Power Rangers line, and its fully clear body with metallic chest deco lets you see the inner workings of the machine—plus all five Rangers visible inside. That transparency is the whole point: it turns the figure into a display piece that shows off the engineering.
The Dragonzord Full Color, on the other hand, is a full-color variant that stands 11 inches tall with seven points of articulation. It doesn’t have the see-through gimmick, but it delivers a more traditional, battle-ready look that fits right in with other full-color Power Rangers figures.
Articulation and Display Differences
Articulation is a key difference: the Megazord Clear has nine points of articulation, while the Dragonzord Full Color has seven. That extra movement makes the Megazord easier to pose in dynamic action scenes, which matters if you like swapping stances on your shelf.
The Dragonzord’s removable chestplate reveals its inner workings, giving you a peek at the mechanics without sacrificing the full-color exterior. It’s a middle ground if you want some tech on display but prefer the classic color scheme.
How to Choose
- Choose Megazord Clear if: you want to showcase the transparent body and see the Rangers inside, and you value the extra two points of articulation for more dynamic poses. If you prioritize display wow-factor and poseability, Megazord Clear is your pick.
- Choose Dragonzord Full Color if: you prefer a classic full-color look that matches other Power Rangers figures, and you’re okay with slightly less articulation in exchange for that traditional appearance. If a cohesive shelf with full-color figures matters more, Dragonzord Full Color fits better.
- If you’re torn between the two: consider your display goals: the Megazord Clear is a conversation starter with its see-through gimmick, while the Dragonzord Full Color is a more versatile fighter that blends with a standard collection. Think about whether you want a centerpiece or a consistent set.
